The mountains are calling. From our desks we can see the Alps changing by the seasons, offering adventure, fitness and relaxation. In our daily lives we can't always escape to the mountains. We believe that practising yoga regularly can give you a similar fix and help you to be your best at work more of the time. We work with companies to provide yoga as a tool for improved decision-making, creative collaboration and reaching bigger and better goals.

Alice Rose Elliott is Founding Yoga Teacher at Alpen Rose Yoga. Alice is originally from London and has been living in Innsbruck since the beginning of 2018. 

"My parents met in a yoga class standing on their heads and I started practising Iyengar yoga as soon as I could. I qualified as a Yoga Alliance teacher in 2013. The best yoga classes allow room to grow and play. 

I have 15 years experience as a Sustainability Expert - working to make businesses a force for good and co-creating social innovation.  In Alpen Rose Yoga my yoga teaching and business experience come alive together.

It’s one thing setting up a weekly yoga session to develop flexibility and strength, to calm the mind and enliven the body. It’s another to recognise that doing yoga at work can improve your postural and mental wellbeing and therefore your confidence and approach at work.

For groups or project teams doing yoga together can create a powerful shared experience that encourages targeted reflection, more self-awareness and creative visioning. 

Your physical movements may influence and shape your moods and thoughts, according to a theory referred to as ‘embodied cognition’. By taking a minute to change your expression or posture, you may affect the way you feel; therefore the way in which you work.

What we offer

morning, lunchtime & aprés yoga

We provide morning, lunchtime and after-work yoga to suit the needs of your staff. We adjust the sessions to suit the time of day. From energising to revitalising to restorative, we aim to cultivate regular practice in order to encourage postural confidence and mental clarity.

Alice led a yoga class on Thursday lunchtimes at our offices. When you are sat in front of a computer all week you can start to feel lethargic and fatigued by Thursday. Alice’s yoga class would always have an instant impact, energising the staff and renewing focus to close out the week. We noticed a marked improvement in the mood of staff members and the productivity of the team as a whole.

Open Classes

Escape to your mat.

Give yourself the opportunity to escape to your mat every Tuesday Friday lunchtime with this gentle flowing class open to all levels.

Tuesday 1230 - 1330 and Fridays 0800 - 0900 at Burgerstraße 12, Innsbruck.

First class €10. Thereafter, drop-in €12. Class passes €100 for 10. (If you bring a friend and both buy a pass you both get a free class (€90 for a 10 class pass). No problem if you need to leave a few minutes early to get back to your desk!

How to do yoga at work


Option one

We offer free set-up for a book of 10 weekly sessions. Staff buy the sessions directly from Alpen Rose Yoga at an initial free taster session. Sessions take place at an agreed time, at a suitable location in your office. Staff bring their own mats, belts and towels.

Books of ten sessions cost 100 euro with a minimum of 6 participants required to kick-off the flow.

Option two

Create a bespoke monthly programme of sessions nestled under your health and wellbeing mission. We design the sessions based on initial feedback from your staff and regularly capture qualitative and quantitive data to feed into your health and wellbeing certifications and awards.  We co-create a private communication channel for Alpen Rose Yoga participants and work closely with Human Resources to collaborate with your broader health and wellbeing strategy.

Alpen Rose Yoga will provide all the equipment and invoice in advance monthly + set-up fee. Sessions take place in your offices at agreed times and all classes are tailored to the corporate context.
